The utterly shambolic Scottish Cup last 16 draw saw Rangers paired with Greenock Morton at home with ties to be played on the 11th/12th February. After (Sir) Rod Stewart’s cringey antics and Alan Stubbs making an arse of the numbers, Jim Duffy’s championship side will travel to Ibrox in a somewhat favourable draw. There was a heart and mouth moment when the possibility of us going to Parkhead was 3/1.
Despite last seasons semi-finalists Celtic also being given a home tie, their fans couldn’t resist the temptation to vent rage about the establishments home tie:
Green_Curve67 was not a happy bhoy!
“What would be the odds?”……… ehh 50/50?
Brad190512 should look into a career with Opta.
“If you include TheOldCo” – if only.
Cretebhoy hasn’t recovered from Samaras’ Ibrox penalty miss it seems. A home tie against Greenock Morton – that’ll keep the lights on for sure. Im sure he’d tune in to Ross County – Aberdeen right enough………
The unbeatable invincibles drawn against the mighty Inverness (bogey team btw) at home. How will they cope. Keep up the good work SFA.
Straight to the point here from Daniel. No messing about. Its actually not unbelievable. We’re actually drawn at home on a regular basis.
Another cutting assessment, this time from Zack Birnie. Its really not that shocking.
1/2 aint bad.
Its not just the SFA who came in for stick, with Superstar Celtic fan Rod Stewart getting some stick aswell.
Bobby Barr hits the nail on head.
Rod the Prod.
